With her base in Campbell River, Expectation is 2 hours from the entrance to Desolation Sound running at 10 knot cruise. She burns about 6 gallons an hour at cruise and only a few hours a day will let you explore the sound, Knight inlet, Princess Louisa inlet, the Northern gulf of Georgia and the Robson Bight orca habitat.

The places to explore in this world famous cruising area are almost limitless. Many of the islands have lakes to swim at, they all have hills, if not mountains to climb, and the harbors are renowned internationally.
